Job Description

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a highly motivated Applied Technology Technician to join its Security Engineering team.  The successful candidate will reside at the Bettis site and work with a team of security professionals to support physical security systems including new installations, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance of hardware components such as badge readers, alarm sensors, biometric readers, video cameras, control panels, locking mechanisms, and barrier devices (e.g., arms, fences, gates, turnstiles).  In addition, a working knowledge of engineered electronic systems, network cabling topologies, and electrical safety, including lock out tag out (LOTO) are expected.
