Job Description

Transition of Operations (ToO) an engineering subdivision within the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) Engineering Department is responsible for the engineering and project management of the startup of the Naval Spent Fuel Handling (NSFH) Facility. This posting is for multiple entry level roles within the subdivision. The NSFH Facility will replace current infrastructure used to process spent nuclear fuel for final disposal. This individual will need to interface with individuals that are developing the radiological, nuclear safety, and process requirements as part of the NSFH Facility.?  

Engineers will be responsible for:  

• Technical evaluations 

• Procedure development  

• Project management 

• Design and procurement of support equipment
